Once a student receives either a personal or blast email/text, they can opt out. However, as we set to-dos for the future to follow up, I've found that they have already opted out of email or text by the time that I follow up with the student. I feel like the notification of this would save time on our end of things.

It is so great to see that this is being evaluated. I'd still recommend this even a year later. I just ran into this issue several times today and it was a week ago that they had opted out so I didn't know until I came across it on my to-do today.
