Aside from the texting opt-in on the PURL or sending someone an email with a link to their PURL. Is there another pathway for a lead record to opt in to texting? For example could I instruct someone to send a "yes" text to a SMS short code # which will opt them in and reflect they opted in on the student record page?

Yes, any student can text "Start" (case insensitive) to your account's phone number (Account > Settings > Account Profile > Text & Voice Messaging) and that number will be opted in for text messages.

If they have a record, the number would associate with a Spectrum ID, but to me this feature would be far more useful if they could send a particular school code to a short code # and that would send them a text with a link to an SEM form to submit.
