In previous platforms I’ve used, there was an option to CC additional recipients. This was especially useful when sending messages to students while also keeping their parents informed. During my time working with undergraduate financial aid, we often CC’d parents to ensure everyone received important updates.
At the moment, we are limited to sending emails to either a student’s personal or school email. It would be helpful to send to both by using a primary recipient and a CC. This would ensure the message is more likely to be seen and acted upon, regardless of which inbox the student checks more frequently.
Adding this functionality would improve communication effectiveness, particularly for important topics like financial aid, deadlines, ADA accommodations, etc.
