I think would be extremely useful and great insurance in event of there being data loss problems if EMP could create a snapshot of the data that is on the original application submission. This data should be accessible via query, available for export, etc. It should be viewable as well.
While I realize there is an application form view currently, I know it pulls current data values, and is therefore not a snapshot of the original application data.
Andrew, this does not already exist. If a student applies with the name Bob Jones and later tells us their name is really Robert Jones-Smith, when we go to the Application Formfill under Forms on that student record, it will show the submitted date but display all current information. We would have no way of proving that they applied as "Bob Jones" originally.
We actually have this issue currently with a student who used an all together fake name, but we have no way ot verifying it because the Application Formfill only shows the updated info.
This feature currently exists to some degree - by using the multiple application features. This adds the ability for each student to have multiple versions of their applications saved to their record, with each not being impacted by the other.
