The responsive email templates have the hardcoded social media links for Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Can we add Instagram? It would be helpful to have the ability to add/delete the social media icons based on what is needed.

Yes, and please add Linkedin as an option too! No need for Google + as it doesn't exist anymore.
Google+ is no longer active as of 2019. That should definitely be removed.
