We would like to see the option to create rules or tables to pre-populate certain fields in the system when associated fields are completed.
For instance, our reps are assigned automatically in the system based on the logic rules established in the Rep Assignments settings. However, we would like our Rep Territory field to be auto-populated using this logic as well - a field which does not change if a rep assignment is manually changed and locked.
Another example would be to populate our source type by default to match the associated source methods (e.g. Postcard lead sources would always have a Source Type field value of Print Ad). We often see data entry errors where parent term and sub-term mismatch, Stage and substage mismatch, etc. This function would allow us to maintain data integrity quickly and easily.
