There are emails listed as invalid that are valid, but have been rejected temporarily due to a server error or other such issue. EMP detects these as invalid emails and blocks future communication to them, but they are not always invalid.
I'd like to request EMP's consideration to be more judicious with regard to which SMTP codes cause an email address to be truly invalid. Codes in the 400-499 range are unlikely to be invalid, but had a temporary, minor connection or delivery error to an otherwise valid email address.
One such list with explanations can be found at http://www.serversmtp.com/en/smtp-error
Currently, one such server glitch can cause a student to receive no emails from a school, thwarting the recruitment process in an instant.
